beritagowa.com – Los Angeles, 18 Desember 2024 – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) telah mengumumkan daftar film calon nominasi Oscar 2025 pada Rabu (18/12/2024) di Los Angeles. Namun, sayangnya, film Indonesia, Women from Rote Island tidak masuk dalam daftar pendek calon nominasi ke-97 dari 10 kategori yang diumumkan.
Menariknya, film Emilia Perez dan Wicked berhasil menarik perhatian dari Universal Pictures dan siap bersaing untuk mendapatkan nominasi resmi. Proses pemungutan suara untuk menentukan nominasi resmi akan dimulai pada 8 Januari dan berakhir pada 12 Januari 2025. Nominasinya sendiri akan diumumkan pada 17 Januari 2025.
